This notice describes the current public preview of AutoRateFinder. The preview is designed to let a visitor build an educational car-insurance comparison profile without entering a name, email address or phone number.
Current preview
The current comparison flow runs in the visitor's browser. AutoRateFinder does not currently submit the answers from that preview flow to an insurer or licensed insurance partner. We do not currently provide live carrier quotes.
Information you enter
The preview may ask for a ZIP code, age range, vehicle year/make/model, driving-record category, coverage goal and possible discount categories. These inputs are used to display the on-screen educational profile insight. The current preview is not intended for highly sensitive information. Do not enter Social Security numbers, driver's-license numbers, payment-card numbers, medical information or other confidential identifiers.
Future licensed-partner handoffs
Before AutoRateFinder sends personal information to a licensed insurer, agency, producer or other quote partner, the product must identify the partner or partner category, explain what information will be shared and request appropriate consent. Any separate consent to calls or marketing messages must not be hidden inside the basic comparison flow.
Server-side security
Private insurer credentials, API keys and lead-routing secrets are not placed in the public website code. If AutoRateFinder begins collecting personal contact information, that collection must use a secured server-side system with access controls, appropriate retention limits and a deletion process.
Analytics and technical data
When analytics are enabled, AutoRateFinder uses Google Analytics 4 only after the visitor allows analytics through the on-site preference prompt. Advertising storage, ad personalization and Google Signals are kept disabled in the current analytics configuration. Analytics events are designed to measure page visits and product interactions such as starting or completing the comparison flow, not the visitor's ZIP code, name, email address, VIN or vehicle make/model. Visitors can decline analytics and continue using the preview.
Data deletion
The current preview does not provide a user account or server-side lead record to delete. Before persistent personal information is collected, AutoRateFinder intends to provide a clear method to request deletion, subject to records that may need to be retained for legal, security or transaction purposes.
Changes
This notice will change as licensed quote partners, analytics or secure accounts are added. Material changes should be reflected here before the relevant feature is used for live customer data.
